Raytheon has selected Sparton’s GEDC-6 compass for our application which requires dynamic stability. I found the “Sparton GEDC-6 Compass with Dr. David Powell” video below to be very convincing. In this 2 minute video Dr. David Powell, Sparton Engineering Manager, describes the performance of the Sparton GEDC-6 compass mounted on a Scorsby table. Accurate position information supplied by the Scorsby table is compared to the GEDC-6 output.
