Ultra EMS has been selected by the Annual Navy Technology Exercise (ANTX 2016) to demonstrate enhancements to an existing low frequency EM Diver communications product to send/receive data from and to a UUV under water to assets above water. The Technology focus will be cross domain communications, command & control as well as undersea constellation.

“Some enhancements to the existing technology will be to increase data rate and increase effective operating distance in seawater thus making this technology attractive as an alternative communication source for UUV, AUV and USV communication, data transfer, and interoperability.” Said Robert Tims, Ultra EMS Manager of Engineering Services,

As part of this exercise Ultra EMS will be demonstrating a communication system that can be mounted on a UUV. This will be done at ANTX 2016 exercise planned for August 2016 at NUWC-Newport in RI. For more information about this technology please contact us.
